Logan Hill Climb

This annual spring event held in April features motorcycle hill climbing at the Logan Rock Quarry just off Highway 30 on the east edge of Logan. The Hill Climb, sponsored by the Hill Blazers Motorcycle Club, attracts thousands of spectators from across the United States. Logan Car Show & Village Green

Third Saturday in May. Calling all cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors! Enjoy kids and family activities, goods, shopping, music and food in Logan City Park. Mighty Mo Rodeo

Music in the Park

Logan July 4th Celebration

The community of Logan celebrates America’s birthday each July with a multi-day event featuring the largest parade in Harrison County, games and rides for the kids, and a street dance with a beer garden. Fireworks in the evening on the Fourth cap off the celebration. 712-644-2425

 

 

Dunlap July 4th Celebration

Dunlap gets in the patriotic spirit with a 4th of July parade, fireworks and a celebration that includes food, games and fun for all ages, on the 4th of July.

Woodbine Rodeo Days

Celebrating 54 years, the Woodbine Saddle Club hosts the award-winning Woodbine Rodeo – always the Thursday, Friday and Saturday following the 4th of July. Lavender Stock

Embrace the Hills

An autumn bicycle ride along the Loess Hills of Western Iowa in mid-September. The ride starts at the Mondamin Baptist Church and includes three different route options. A 29-mile loop travels through Pisgah, Little Sioux, River Sioux and back to Mondamin. Two other routes will have

National Wildlife Refuge Week

Free event at DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge held in conjunction with National Wildlife Refuge Week in October.  Enjoy planned indoor and outdoor activities hosted by refuge staff, as well as tours of the refuge. DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge is located along U.S. Hwy. 30, seven miles

Small's Fruit Farm Fall Festival

Missouri Valley Chamber Halloween Parade

Held in late October. Come enjoy a spooky good time! Costume judging at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Missouri Valley, followed by a Halloween revelers parade traveling west on Huron Street to the fire station. Hot dogs are served at the firehouse. 712-642-2553

'Bright Lights, Little City' Christmas in Woodbine

The Polar Express

Celebrate the holiday magic of "The Polar Express" at Watson Station Train Depot in Missouri Valley City Park in early December.  Activities include steam train rides, hayrack rides, face-painting, a visit from Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, holiday goodies, and more.  The holiday family-friendly fun is presented by Wisecup Family Partnership and Watson Station.
